Nicole Marinez - Program Director and Creator of the Body Sculpt Challenge |
 |
Hi! Welcome to the Challenge.
The Body Sculpt Challenge is a boot-camp style fitness immersion that meets five days
a week for ten weeks. We have been helping people achieve their goals since 2005 by focusing on the following core principles:
- Designed for people of all fitness levels
- Personal training in a group setting
- Cross-training workouts that are always fun
- Individuals work safely at their own pace
- Peer-level positive support, group camaraderie
- Built-in accountability through goal-setting and measurement tracking
|
Three days per week the Challenge offers unique fat-burning cardio workouts incorporating boxing/kickboxing combinations on the heavy bags, fun and safe partner-based pad work, circuit-training, and sports agility and plyometric drills. New drills and combinations are added every week to build on the skill and intensity level. Participants perform 3 Fit Tests during the session to chart their improvements in muscular strength and endurance.
We guarantee our cross-training methods will keep you challenged and focused. You won't just be exercising but building your confidence and improving your physical attributes each week of the session.
|
 |

Circuit Training - 1 of 3 aerobic class variety each week
|

Total Body Strength - 2 classes every week
|
 |
Twice a week the Challenge offers two different total body strength training workouts to build, shape and maintain lean muscle. Strength-training classes are progressive over the ten weeks incorporating body weight, resistance
bands, free weights, medicine balls, stability balls and other equipment to improve core strength, balance and flexibility.
These are not your typical commercial gym classes - you'll never be bored and they are so fun you will be motivated to keep coming back! |
Healthy eating is essential to achieve body sculpting goals and important for fitness performance in the program. We provide
nutritional guidance and structure with our sensible nutrition checklist, daily
food logs, and weekly emails with tips and recipes to keep you committed to your goals throughout the 10 weeks. To keep you on track,
we do body weight and circumference measurements every 3 weeks.

Personal training in a group setting
|
 |
Our “personal training in a class setting” philosophy allows each person to set and attain their own goals. The instructing team's focus is to provide you a good workout, make it
challenging within your own skill and fitness level, and to motivate.
Each instructor has their own unique
teaching style, which makes every workout truly different.
We encourage each member to engage with our instructors. Our instructors want to know your strengths, weakness, and motivations so
they know how to modify or intensify your workouts. Tell them what you need and they'll help you workout to your fullest potential.
|
We will award Challenge Contest prizes for weight/inches lost and for participation and attendance. If you have more questions,
check out our FAQ, testimonials, or
contact us. Or just stop in and check us out. We'd love to get you started; and you'll love the
Challenge!
Sincerely,
Nicole Marinez
